The Outworking of Love

Text: 1 John 3:16-23

This text is pretty strait forward. We know love because Jesus died for us, and sacrificed for us. We as Christians show our love not just through saying "I love you" but through going out into the world spreading God's love, caring for the needy and those brethren who we see in need. We show love by the combination of works and words, recognizing that our works are empty without the gospel.
